Fortress Concrete Fiber

Fortress Concrete Fiber is used in concrete applications such as slab-on-grade, curbs, driveways, sidewalks, basement floors, garage floors, colored concrete, and small precast products, to control plastic shrinkage – anywhere that the objective is to control plastic shrinkage cracking while improving basic durability properties. Currently available in 8 5lb bags or 40 1lb bags per box for greater control per batch size. Single boxes can be purchased online but please contact us at orders@sobxchemicals.com or (336) 603-8029 for pallet pricing and shipping.

Recommended dosage rate:

Recommended standard dosage rate of fiber is 1.0 lb. per cubic yard (0.6 kg. per cubic meter) of concrete added directly to the concrete mixing system during, or after, the batching of the other ingredients, and mixed at the time and speed recommended by the mixer manufacturer (usually four to five minutes).
